Make a difference – pave the way to a rewarding experience in nonprofits.
Whether you want to start a new career, improve your fundraising skills, or serve as a board member, Harper College CE offers the courses to help you help others. This summer, we offer two courses to help you apply for grants and what to do once you’ve been awarded a grant.
GRANT MANAGEMENT AND COMPLIANCE: You’ve been awarded a grant, now what? Review the programmatic and fiscal aspects throughout the life of the grant. Review the activities carried out by the grantee and the administrative requirements. Become knowledgeable about resources. Learn about grant budgets, modifications, time and effort reporting, procurement standards, internal controls, and non-compliance remedies. LVM 0211-001, Friday, 6/23, 9:00 AM-3:00 PM

This workshop covers all the key factors in writing successful grant applications including state and federal requirements for grant seekers.
