Introduction to Python Programming
Learn Python, the number one programming language in the industry. Start from the ground up to develop a well-rounded and practical understanding of the language. Gain the ability to write Python scripts and problem solve. Prerequisite: some programming experience is recommended, but not required.

Explore one of the most popular ways to learn programming and electronics. This course will allow students to configure a new Raspberry Pi for hands-on and interactive projects. Programs will be written in Python and interface with electronic components such as LEDs, buttons, resistors, and cameras. Course fees include a Raspberry Pi 3 kit. Prerequisites: Some knowledge of a programming language is helpful.

About the Instructor: Dylan Kapp has a B.S. degree in Computer Engineering Technology from DeVry University and is currently pursuing a Masters in Computer Science with a specialization in Machine Learning from Georgia Tech. While working as a software programmer at Motorola Solutions, Kapp has kick-started and taught several courses, including Python programming, Linux, and Raspberry Pi. His classes are geared towards practical and engaging ways to learn and apply computer technology skills to today’s world.
These classes are taught in suite 2W at the Harper Professional Center, located at 650 E. Higgins Road in Schaumburg.
