Flavors of India – Vegetarian Special: Traditional Indian Food is widely appreciated for its simple use of herbs and spices. Come discover the world of rich culture and explore the possibilities of cooking desi style. We will meet once every week for 3 weeks. All dishes complement Farm-to-Table Cooking. Tuesdays, 7/17-7/31, 6-8 p.m.
The High Tea Party: Learn to make mouthwatering street food & chai tea in this class. We will make a delicious vegetable platter of pakoras. These are vegetables of your choice dipped in gram flour to make fritters. And you will make masala chai-a must have hot flavored beverage infused with herbs. Tuesday, 7/17, 6-8 p.m.
Nuts About Breads: If there’s anything that will make you fall in love with Indian Food, it’s the bread. Stuffed with vegetables and layered in delectable butter. You will learn the art of basic dough making and will make variety of fresh breads including finger-licking Aloo (Potato), Gobi (Cauliflower), Lachha (Layered) & spinach. Tuesday, 7/24, 6-8 p.m.
The Classic Meal: Experience an evening in New Delhi. Prepare an authentic North Indian meal by making the mother of all lentils – Dal Makhani, Cumin Flavored Long Grain Basmati Rice and Cool Cucumber Mint Yogurt Dip. Tuesday, 7/31, 6-8 p.m.
