I want to spend just a moment thanking you for the great patience you have shown in being a Continuing Education student in the spring and now moving into the summer. The uncertainty that we are all living in has not been easy for our students, instructors, or staff.
Because of the shifting nature of our social distancing situation, we were unable to put a summer schedule into print. Frankly, we had our summer schedule completed when the pandemic hit, and we had to quickly work with our instructors to move as many of our classes as possible to an online format.
We now have an online version of our Summer 2020 catalog available at ce.harpercollege.edu . I hope that you will visit our website to have a look at the classes that we are able to offer you this summer. Registration is open!
We have been working with our instructors to create new classes that are specifically designed to be offered as online classes. You will find new pottery and fencing classes, for example, that fall into that category.
The Lifelong Learning Institute (a membership-based group) has also developed an online lecture series. With a single registration, you will gain access to about 20 lectures and a series of Q&A sessions. Watch the lectures whenever and as often as you want for one low price. Course and membership information for the speaker series is available at harpercollege.edu/lli .
If you have questions about anything in our catalog please don’t hesitate to email us at firstname.lastname@example.org .
