Bookmarks! was a chance for avid readers, aspiring writers, and people who love a good story, to spend a few enjoyable hours celebrating books, creativity, and community. It featured bestselling and local authors with books across every genre.
It was also a chance to explore Harper College’s newly reopened Schaumburg Campus. See complete schedule.

Thanks to the local libraries who attended the event. Now you should visit them, discover programs and resources throughout the community, and connect with organizations that keep stories alive.
There were engaging presentations, panel discussions, and readings covering writing, publishing, creativity, storytelling, children’s literature, and the fascinating journey from idea to printed page.
Live music was courtesy of Harper’s own Back Porch Revue, who were also celebrating International Play Music on the Porch Day.
